How eNFACT Works For YouListed below are the steps that describe the process eNFACT will use when they receive a high-risk alert. Step 1 eNFACT reviews high-risk transaction alerts for NewBridge Bank. A fraud analyst reviews card alerts and, based on their analysis, will determine whether to call the cardholder. eNFACT will make up to three attempts to contact the cardholder. Step 2 eNFACT contacts the cardholder. eNFACT contacts the cardholder and asks about the questionable transaction. If the cardholder confirms that it is a legitimate transaction, then eNFACT thanks the cardholder and notifies NewBridge Bank to let us know that they talked with our cardholder and they indicated that no fraud took place. eNFACT will make up to three attempts to contact the cardholder, leaving messages when able. If they cannot successfully contact the cardholder, and the activity is considered high-risk, eNFACT may temporarily block the cardholder's card. If eNFACT cannot contact the cardholder, they will send a letter advising them that their card has been blocked and directing them to contact eNFACT. eNFACT will only contact NewBridge Bank cardholders by phone between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. EST. If eNFACT is unsuccessful in contacting the cardholder by phone, they will send them a letter requesting their help in validating the suspicious transaction. Cardholders may respond back to messages at any time that is convenient for them. Note: The card will remain blocked until the cardholder verifies the transaction with eNFACT or NewBridge Bank confirms the transaction is valid and removes the block. Step 3 If the cardholder confirms fraud, eNFACT will block the account. If the cardholder confirms a fraudulent transaction, then eNFACT will block the cardholder's card. eNFACT will also mark the transaction as confirmed fraud in the system for use in future transaction scoring.
